The Full Price of the class is $500

This class is for beginners and intermediate students.

This class will teach students to cut, form, polish, and combine minerals to set in jewelry. Instruction in this class includes learning:

• use of lapidary equipment

• use of general jewelry tools, and soldering

• learning to cut, polish, and a raw stone into a cabochon

• basic faceting of minerals

• setting and finishing work

• Use of polishing machine for finish work

This is a hands on stone cutting, and forming experience that allows students the opportunity to create their very own jewelry start to finish. Expect to get your hands dirty, and to create some beautiful tiny shinys.

This 8 week class meets on Sunday for 3 hours per week from 5-8pm.
