Overall getting here can be a bit of a challenge at first, but just like going anywhere in San Francisco it can become smooth and pretty easy.

Driving here:

Driving here can be tricky at rush hour, and parking can be frustrating, and difficult. Still, it's not impossible, leave plenty of time for looking for parking, or plan to park at one of the many garages in the neighborhood. Remember that the A sticker spots which are 2 hour parking can be ticketed until 9pm in North Beach. Finding a spot in the parking meter areas is best, as those spots are generally only ticketed until 6pm.

Uber and Taxi:

Many students say that the easiest way to get here is Uber, Lyft, or Taxi. From many destinations in the city it is only a few dollars, and is pretty reliable.

Muni and Bart:

If you don't mind walking a bit, BART can be a great option. Exit at Montgomery station, and walk up Montgomery until you reach Broadway. Make a Right on Grant and walk three blocks. Several Muni lines run to the stop at Washington Square Park including the 45 and the 30. From the Park, walk up Union or Filbert to Grant, and the shop is across the street. The 8x also runs to Broadway and Columbus, and leaves you right at the the right turn to walk up to Grant.
