The Full Price of the class is $500

This class is for beginners and intermediate students.

This class will explore techniques in stone cutting, and forming. We will explore ways to cut, form, polish and combine minerals to set in Jewelry. These techniques will include:

• Cabochon demo, learn how to cut, form and polish a cab.

• faceted stone forming.

• use of lapidary tools

• Stone setting in Jewelry

• Bay area resources for finding raw materials

• Use of polishing machine for finish work

This is a hands on experience that allows students the opportunity to create, form and polish their own stones. You will be using power tools, polishing wheels, and torches.

This 8 week class meets on Sunday for 3 hours per week from 6-9pm.
